Leap
In '94 I asked my boss at Xerox if he would give me six months leave of absence so that I could go to the United States to pursue my dream of travelling and shooting competitively without the daily concerns of work.
He said "No."
"Hmm. Well then," I said. "I think we are done here.."
April Fool's Day 1994
I set foot on the desert floor in Tempe, Arizona.
It was the beginning of my new life. That year I made a promise to myself that I would live life on my own terms and do what I love.
To me, retiring at 68 to pursue my dreams didn't make much sense. If I was to live the way I wanted
I needed to do it NOW.
